Interacting with fellow coworkers at Fall Gathering!
It was during a particularly tricky interface issue. Multiple vendors were involved, the client was stressed, and the root cause wasn’t obvious. Instead of being told to “just escalate it,” I was invited to collaborate directly with development, test potential fixes, and help implement the solution. When everything finally clicked and the client’s workflow was restored, I realized: this is a place where my voice matters and my work has real impact.
I'm a "puzzle solver" and cannot stand boredom. I love being challenged and learning new things. As my skillset grows, OpenPM offers me ways to grow so that I don't ever feel like I'm just a cog in the machine. While I cannot call out one specific moment easily, I can recall many times where OpenPM saw a potential in me that I did not even know I had, and offered me ways to take new paths or opportunities to expand that potential. It's not very often that a company inspires you to be your best, rather than just expecting you to be your best.
